Bob is the Owner and Founder of South Island Drywall. With years of hands-on construction experience, he built the company on quality workmanship, reliability, and long-term relationships. Actively involved in day-to-day operations, Bob leads with a practical, detail-oriented approach and a strong commitment to doing things right the first time. He sets clear expectations and maintains high standards on every project to ensure dependable results for clients. A proud father of three, Bob values balance between work and family and brings those principles into his leadership and company culture. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and is a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan. His focus on craftsmanship, integrity, and people continues to guide South Island Drywall as a trusted local company.

Mackenzie Kurta
Mackenzie is the Office Manager at South Island Drywall, where she oversees day-to-day operations, administration, and coordination to keep projects running smoothly. With a strong background in communications and organization, she manages invoicing, documentation, and client relations while supporting both leadership and field crews. Outside of work, Mackenzie is pursuing a master’s degree and brings that same dedication and curiosity into her professional life. Known for her happy, playful energy and strong work ethic, she balances a warm, approachable personality with a clear, professional focus. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her dogs and recharging so she can bring her best to the team each day
Office Manager
Ray leads the Warranty Department, bringing a detail-oriented and solutions-focused approach to ensuring every project meets the highest standards long after completion. He values clear communication, accountability, and taking care of both clients and team members. Ray takes pride in resolving issues efficiently and building long-term trust with homeowners. Outside of work, Ray enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and can often be found hiking the Sooke Hills.

Jeremy is a Site Manager known for his organized leadership style and ability to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently. He values teamwork, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive job site culture. Jeremy approaches each project with a calm, thoughtful mindset and a strong attention to detail. When he’s not on site, Jeremy enjoys hiking, playing Magic: The Gathering, and spending time with his girlfriend and their two cats.

Outside of work, Rob is passionate about fishing and camping—two of his favorite pastimes. He loves spending time outdoors with his wife Susan, their kids, and embracing the peace and adventure that nature brings.

Travis brings a positive attitude to every task and thrives in collaborative environments. Outside of work, he enjoys video games and staying connected with friends and family.
