Help Us Make Christmas a Little Brighter!
November 1 – December 9, 2026
Locally Built. Locally Operated. Proudly Giving Back.
This Christmas, we're bringing our community together to spread a little extra holiday cheer!
South Island Drywall is proud to partner with the Greater Victoria Festival Society, CFAX Santas Anonymous, Advanced Self Storage, and Slegg Building Materials to help make the holiday season brighter for children and families across South Vancouver Island.
Together, we're collecting new, unwrapped toys to spread joy, bring smiles to children's faces, and ensure more families experience the magic of Christmas.
Every toy donated makes a difference, and together, we can make this Christmas a little brighter for those who need it most!
Not Every Child Experiences the Same Christmas
For many of us, Christmas brings memories of family traditions, excitement, and the joy of giving. But for families facing financial hardship, the holiday season can also bring additional stress and uncertainty.
According to First Call's 2025 BC Child Poverty Report Card, approximately 1 in 6 children in British Columbia were living in poverty in 2023, representing nearly 150,000 children across the province.
Closer to home, CFAX Santas Anonymous reports that demand for its 2026 Christmas assistance program in Greater Victoria continues to grow, with the organization able to serve a maximum of 1,200 families.
These aren't just numbers. They represent children, parents, and neighbours in communities like ours.
At South Island Drywall, we believe every child deserves to experience a little Christmas magic. Through our First Annual Christmas Toy Drive, we're inviting our community to come together and help make that possible.
Building More Than Walls. Building a Stronger Community.
At South Island Drywall, building is what we do, but community is who we are.
As a locally built and operated company, we're proud of the relationships we've developed throughout Greater Victoria and the Westshore. Every project we complete is a reminder that our success is connected to the people and families who call this island home.
That's why we're so excited to host our First Annual Christmas Toy Drive. We believe that when local businesses and community members come together, we can build something far more meaningful than any construction project: a community where people look out for one another.
Calling on Our Construction Community to Come Together!
The construction industry is built on teamwork. Every successful project takes people working together, supporting one another, and doing their part. This Christmas, South Island Drywall is inviting our fellow tradespeople, contractors, suppliers, business partners, and community members to put that same spirit of teamwork toward something special. We're collecting new or nearly new, unwrapped toys from November 1 through December 9 to help spread Christmas cheer throughout our community. Whether you're a small local business, a large company, or an individual who simply wants to give back, we'd love to have you join us. Let's show what our construction community can build when we work together!
